Mission Australia conducted their 21st annual Youth Survey Report 2022 surveying 18,800 young people. Here is what they found:
- Young people are largely concerned with financial concerns and housing instability.
- Almost 3 in 10 (28.8%) young people indicated high psychological distress.
- Almost one-quarter (23.5%) felt lonely all or most of the time.
- More than half (53.4%) have needed support with their mental health at some point in their life.
- Gender diverse young people and young females indicated lower wellbeing than young males.

Breath by Choice has been implementing and offering breathwork and cold exposure classes to high schools for 2+ years now with incredible results!
